53.dev
53.dev is a DNS host you drive entirely from a terminal. There is
no dashboard to click through and no account to create before you
start — your records serve immediately.
Two ways to use it
- Over SSH: run
ssh 53.dev from any
terminal. Your SSH key identifies you; the zones and records you
create are bound to that key.
- In the browser: this page is an interactive
web terminal. It needs JavaScript to run — enable it, or use the
SSH command above.
What you can do
- Create and manage DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX, NS,
SRV, CAA and more) without an account.
- Records are live as soon as you create them.
- Optionally run
login to attach an exe.dev account
so your records persist beyond a short anonymous session.
